The conic curve is an important part of high school knowledge.In the curriculum requirement for elliptic and parabolic but students tend to pay more attention to elliptic parabolic and in the last two years in sichuan college entrance examination are investigating reflects to the attention of the parabolic parabolic.In this paper based on SOLO classification theory analysis of high school students cognitive level status of parabola mainly from the following four dimensions: the definition of parabola standards of parabolic equation parabolic images and the application of simple geometric properties parabolic and get the following conclusions:(1)There are a large number of students who don't understand the parabolic definition very well.From the data analysis it is concluded that the degree of mastery of parabola is improved after one year but it is not obvious.(2)The students have a good grasp of parabolic standard equations.Moreover after a year's study students have made great progress in mastering parabolic standard equations.(3)It can be seen from the data that students have a poor grasp of the simple geometric properties of parabola and teachers should explain and emphasize the simple geometric properties of parabola.(4)The parabola application is in the middle of the student body but it's very rare to reach the highest level of E.Students have a poor grasp of parabolic applications.(5)At the cognitive level of parabola definition and standard equation the female students have a higher level of cognition than the male students while in the geometrical nature and application of parabola the proportion of male students with high cognitive level is higher than that of female students and the proportion of low cognitive level is lower than that of female students.However there was no significant difference between male and female students on parabola.(6)The students' learning of parabola definition standard equation geometric properties and application is mutually reinforcing.In this paper the cognitive level of parabola in high school is tested and the results are statistically analyzed and some teaching Suggestions are put forward according to the statistical results which hope to help the teaching of parabola of the first-line teachers.
