The report of China nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party pointed out that employment is the biggest livelihood of the people.The issue of employment has always been the focus of social concern.The ever-increasing scale of college graduates across the country makes the annual graduation season known as the “harder graduation season”.Faced with the grim situation of college students in employment,the state encourages college students to start their own businesses and promote employment through entrepreneurship.Universities carry out entrepreneurial quality education to improve the comprehensive ability and quality of college students,through the training of entrepreneurial talent to improve the quality of employment.In order to solve the employment problem of college graduates,in addition to the government's supportive policies to improve the employment environment,higher education institutions and students themselves need to make their due efforts and preparations.The most important task is to improve the psychological state of employment and cultivate the ability and quality that are conducive to improving employment performance.This study uses psychological capital as an independent variable,employment performance as a dependent variable,and entrepreneurial ability as an intermediary variable.Through the self-employment graduate employment performance scale,a mature college student psychological capital and entrepreneurship scale was cited.Obtain research data through a questionnaire survey.Descriptive statistics analysis,reliability and validity test,correlation analysis,regression analysis and structural equation model test were carried out using SPSS and AMOS.The specific conclusions are as follows:(1)The descriptive statistical analysis of psychological capital,entrepreneurial ability and employment performance shows that the current college students' psychological capital level is not high,the entrepreneurial ability is general,and the overall level of employment performance is general.(2)Psychological capital and its sub-dimensions are optimistic,hopeful and tenacious,which have a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial ability;(3)Psychological capital and entrepreneurial ability have a significant positive impact on the employment performance and its sub-dimension process performance and result performance;(4)The sub-dimensional hope and optimism of the psychological capital have a positive effect on the process performance and the result performance,But tenacity does not have an impact on the two;(5)Entrepreneurial ability plays a part of intermediary role in the relationship between psychological capital and employment performance;(6)Process performance plays a partialmediating role in the relationship between psychological capital and result performance,Process performance plays a complete intermediary role in the relationship between entrepreneurial competency and result performance.Based on the research conclusions,this paper proposes the suggestions of effectively improving the employment performance of college students from the perspectives of psychological capital development intervention and entrepreneurship ability of college students,Covers four levels: country,society,colleges and university students.The study provided advice and suggestions to solve the problem of employment difficulties for college students.
