In recent years,people pay more and more attention to examples in textbooks,and the role of examples in teaching materials and their influence on students' learning are attracting more and more attention.The main problem of this paper is: 1)how to construct the text analysis framework of examples in Chinese and American primary school mathematics textbooks.2)what are the characteristics of the compilation of various versions in the framework of China and Australia? 3)what are the characteristics and suggestions of compiling examples in primary school mathematics textbooks of PEP? The main significance of the research is to provide some references for the compilation of primary school mathematics textbooks in China.This paper is a case study of the example part of mathematics textbooks for grade four in the Chinese version of the people's education,the American California edition and the Vitoria edition of Australia.1)from the situational type,it can be divided into ruthless,personal life,common sense and other situations.2)from the type of illustration,it can be divided into unillustrations,data charts,model maps,cartoons,life maps and historical figures;3)from the domain of knowledge,it is divided into number and algebra,figure and geometry,statistics and probability;4)according to Polya's theory of problem solving,the problem of solving the problem is clarified.Plan,realize the plan,review and reflect on the four problem solving stages;5)from the types of examples are divided into conceptual principle type,method type,problem solving type;6)divided into drawing,conjecture and test,looking for patterns,lists,hypotheses,retelling,simplifying,thinking related problems,using equations,using concepts,and in turn.Then,according to the above analysis category,the statistical analysis of the examples in the three sets of mathematics textbooks is carried out,and the common points and characteristics of the three sets of examples are summed up.This study found that the common points of the three versions are situational setting and close life,paying attention to pictures and texts,content orientation and method type.The three versions have their own characteristics: the PEP pays attention to the cultivation of students' interest in learning and observation.The California version focuses on the training of students' data analysis and problem-solving habits.The Vitoria edition pays attention to the cultivation of students' model thinking and the combination of numbers and shapes.It is necessary to add the data chart to the example of the primary school mathematics teaching material of the human teaching edition,and appropriately increase the method of solving the problem and the guide of the steps of solving the problem in the process of solving the problem.The lack of research is that the researchers only studied three examples of textbooks,and the categories were limited,which led to some conclusions not convincing.
