“Writing” competence,as the demonstration of one's comprehensive Chinese literacy achievement,is one of innate ability which has already begun at the same time with language expression.“Senior High school”is only one of its statge,and this ability would not be ending in high school,but runs through lifetime.Composition teaching always plays a vital role in Chinese teaching,however,it is also the difficult teaching points of Chinese teaching in senior high school.Although discussion and research on composition teaching reform in educational and academic circles is now actively pushing forward,weakness of composition teaching have not been resolved yet.One of the important reason is that classroom composition teaching has its limitations."Extracurricular involvement" of composition teaching in this paper refers to the subject of teaching behavior outside the classroom,and is the activity of cultivating students' writing ability in respecting of students' composition ability.Currently,there are three types of "extracurricular involvement" in composition teaching.Except the involvement of literary journals emphasized in this paper,there are also a large number of composition tutoring organizations and the concept of family composition tutoring which a few researchers advocate.Profit is fundamental purpose of extracurricular tutoring organizations,which resulted utilitarianism.Moreover,such kind of teaching method is implementated by their own and it is difficult to evaluate the overall impact on students' writing performance.There are also implementation limitations when family instruction holds the responsibility of assisting senior high school composition teaching.Combined with author's own work experience and previous academic studies,this paper starts withlow performance of high school students' writing ability,puts forward concept of extracurricular involvement in senior high school's composition teaching—literary journals involvement.Senior students would be more benifited as literary journals involvement could not only lay the foundation for senior high school composition teaching,cultivate writing interest,improve writing knowledge and skills,but also practice writing creativity and encourage unique personality thinking.It would be more in line with the rules of writing activities and be more in line with the new curriculum standard equirement of senior high school writing courses.Regularity in current literary involvement has not been formed yet,and it is necessary to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism between literary journals and senior high schools.There are still many details to be considered when literary journals are involved in high school composition teaching,and corresponding regulations need to be formulated.
