Social Workers' Intervention In The Study Of Network Empowerment Of The Elderly

The arrival of the Internet and the information age has transformed our lives,and at present,the age level of Internet users in China presents an unbalanced distribution,the young and middle-aged group is the main force,and the elderly population in the era of network and information has gradually become the "vulnerable groups",their own learning ability and traditional ideas influence it,there are multiple obstacles when integrated into the network society,It is difficult for them to enjoy the fruits of the era development and social progress with the young people.And this also causes the phenomenon such as intergenerational communication disorder and the social participation of the elderly,which makes the development of the society hidden trouble.This study starts from the empowerment theory of social work,using the method of action research,and through group work,the network empowerment service for the elderly population in Beijing X community,to explore ways for social work to improve the elderly's network capability and the elimination of the old weak position,trying to broaden the scope of social work service.The study first evaluated the network needs of the elderly in the X community.and according to the content of the needs,determine the specific content and plan of the service,and then according to the plan to carry out the six-week network group activities,and observe the team process.At the same time,the research according to their own practical experience and the process of the whole team,this paper summarizes the advantages of social work in the application of demand assessment,group work and professional theory in the network empowerment of the elderly.At the same time also found that the social worker's own initiative played a great role.And then induces the reflection in the service of individuation,lack of professionalism and service simplification,furthermore,it puts forward some ideas and suggestions for the future development of network empowerment.
