A Practice Study Of Group Work In The Field Of Spiritual Comfort For The Elderly Who Have Lost Their Only Child Under The Perspective Of Empowerment

Since the implementation of the family planning policy in the 1980 s,on the one hand,family planning policy effectively curb the momentum of overgrowth of population,to some extent,which improve the population quality,on the other hand,it effectively relieve the contradiction between population and economy,society and resources,and promote the improvement of people's living standards,realizing the sustainable development.When China gained remarkable achievements in family planning,the family structure in our country is changing,emerged a great number of one child family,When the one child die from various risks and accidents,the entire nuclear family structure is destroyed.It can be said that the increase of one child families,increased the probability of the one child family.There are now more than one million lose only child families in China.After old people lost their only child,they suffered a heavy suffering.they are not only faced with a heavy test in their old age,but also suffered a great psychological trauma,they lose confidence and motivation in life,even generate self-enclosed.Although the government provides help for the elderly who have lost their only child,there is still a lack of spiritual comfort,and they are in urgent need of spiritual comfort.This paper takes the empowerment perspective as the theoretical basis to enhance the sense of power of the service object itself.In this process,social workers are the helpers,to enhance the ability of the service object to face life's misfortune.At the same time,social workers helped them rebuild their social network and start their normal life again.by using the method of group work,social workers can alleviate their psychological pain and anxiety in the process of group activities,build the social support system in the group,enhance their sense of achievement and life confidence,and help them integrate into the community and return to the society.
