At present,the new round of general high school curriculum reform is steadily advancing.The focus of the reform is how to improve the core literacy of the high school students in order to promote the comprehensive and sustainable development.In January 2018,high school mathematics curriculum standard was revised,and six core qualities in mathematics field were clearly put forward.Mathematics operation literacy is one of them,and it is clearly defined as the student's literacy to solve mathematical problems based on operation rules on the basis of clear operation objects.One of the doubts that exists in the field of mathematical education practice is that the development of mathematical operations of students has been widely concerned by mathematics teachers at all stages of primary and secondary schools.Even in the recent more than 10 years of mathematics curriculum reform,the front-line teachers(and even university teachers)always reflect that the computing ability of primary and secondary school students is decreasing.So,is this true of the students? what is the real problem of students and what effective solutions are there? This study is intended to respond to the current situation,problems and countermeasures of the development of mathematical computing literacy for high school students.This is of great practical significance.It also has a certain reference value for the first-line teachers to help high school students to improve their mathematical literacy.This study mainly adopts the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and work analysis,and has obtained some valuable conclusion in accordance with the basic research ideas of establishing the evaluation framework of mathematical computingliteracy,developing and testing mathematical computing literacy testing tools,field investigation and testing,collecting data,sorting data,and analyzing data.(1)In general,senior high school students show general performance in mathematical operation literacy.26.6% of the students were at the level of 0(senior two 36.7%,senior three 16.3%);35% of the students were at the level of 1(senior two 35%,senior three34.9%);30.1% of the students were at the level of 2(senior two 23.2%,senior three37.2%);on the whole,8.3% of students were at the level 3(senior two 5.1%,senior three 11.6%).(2)There are significant differences between senior two and senior three students in mathematics operation literacy.the average level of mathematical computing literacy is higher than that of the senior students.The junior two students' performance in mathematical computing is poor,only 63.3% of the students reach the level of 1;the senior three students are not poor in mathematical computing literacy,and 83.7% of the students reach the level of 1.(3)There is no significant difference between boys and girls in mathematics operation literacy.But it is worth noting that the proportion of girls in level 1 and level2 is higher than that of boys,and the proportion of male students in level 3 is higher than that of girls.It shows that girls perform well in conventional math operations and less difficult math problems,but they are not as good as boys in the face of comprehensive mathematical problems with many knowledge points.To sum up,senior high school students perform commonly in mathematical operation literacy,but students from different grades and schools are not all the same.For example,83.9% of S1 school students reach level 1 and above.It shows that the students' performance in mathematical operation literacy is not poor,but in the investigation of the teachers,90% of the teachers reflect the students' lack of mathematical operation literacy.This may be because that some teachers are too demanding for students' mathematical operations,which deviates from the requirements of curriculum standards.At the same time,based on the test volume and questionnaires completed by students,it is found that there are some prominent problems in senior high school students' performance in mathematics operation literacy:(1)They are unable to determine operation objects in related or comprehensive situations.(2)They don't master the operation rules and application scope accurately.(3)They can't establish suitableoperation ideas according to the characteristics of the problem.(4).They lack interest in mathematics,lack confidence and lack willing to persist in operation.Combined with the performance of students in mathematics operation literacy,it is suggested that front-line teachers should be strengthened in the following aspects:(1)In the teaching,we should pay attention to the creation of the situation and the design of the problems.(2)We should deepen students' understanding of mathematical concepts and formula rules and clarify operational objects.(3)We should further strengthen the training of students' mathematical thinking.(4)We should exercise willpower and stimulate students' interest in mathematics learning.
