In recent years,collaborative learning has gradually become one of the most popular learning methods.Learners gain social,emotional,and knowledge through collaboration.Cooperative learning participation is an important factor influencing learners' learning effectiveness.There are relevant studies have proven that the 3D virtual environment has immersive and diversified interactive features that enable it to support the effective development of collaborative learning activities.In addition to the learning environment,the individual factors of learners are also reasons that affect their participation in collaborative learning.In order to further enhance the participation of college students in collaborative learning,this study focuses on how to give guidance from the individual aspects of learners,and implements a human-computer dialogue platform applied to collaborative learning in a 3D virtual environment based on motivational interviewing technology design,simulated learning consultants.Through multiple dialogues and interviews,college students are encouraged to change their collaborative learning behaviors,so that enhance learners' collaborative learning engagement from environmental factors and individual factors.Based on the theoretical foundation of social constructivist learning theory,humanistic learning theory,and situational cognitive learning theory,the present study investigates the current state of collaborative learning among college students,and designs a motivational interviewing model for collaborative learning among college students.Using the AIML dialogue technology,the human-computer dialogue platform for motivational interviewing supporting collaborative learning in the three-dimensional virtual environment was initially implemented,and the application mode of the platform in collaborative learning based on 3D virtual environments was proposed.Finally,collaborative learning activities were designed in the Open-Sim 3D virtual learning platform,and a control group quasi-experimental study was conducted to verify the effectiveness of motivational interviewing supporting collaborative learning in 3D virtual environment.The results show that the dialogue intervention given motivational interviewing in the process of collaborative learning based on three-dimensional virtual environment can effectively improve the learner's participation in collaborative learning from both social activities and individual activities of college students.
