Function is one of the important content of high school mathematics knowledge,the function is divided into two basic elementary functions in high school mathematics textbooks to learn,one is the basic elementary functions(a),which is referred to in this article "exponential function and logarithm Function ";one is the basic elementary functions(b),that is,the trigonometric functions they will learn later.Among them,the "exponential function and logarithmic function" is the content of annual math test,which mainly examines the basic properties of these two types of functions,including the function domain,range,monotonicity,parity,periodicity and so on.However,due to the abstraction of the exponential and logarithmic functions,high school students fail to understand and master them quickly when they enter high school math,which will lead to learning disabilities in the process of learning.The types of students with learning disabilities,the causes of these learning disabilities and teaching strategies needed to overcome these learning disabilities are the ones that need to be studied in this paper.Before writing this article,I consulted both domestic and foreign literature on “exponential function and logarithmic function”.Based on the theory of educational psychology and the theoretical analysis of learning disabilities in mathematics,I made questionnaires for students of corresponding grades.The survey also conducted interviews with students at different levels.Based on the theoretical basis and statistical analysis of questionnaire survey data,the four types of learning disabilities experienced by senior high school students when learning “exponential and logarithmic functions” were summarized.Questionnaire survey results and data analysis have made an analysis of the causes of learning disabilities in high school students learning this part of the knowledge.Finally,corresponding teaching strategies are given in response to these five factors.It is hoped that these teaching strategies can be used to overcome high school students' learning.” The exponential function and the logarithmic function are used to improve the quality of teaching,to help teachers optimize teaching,but also to help high school students build confidence and interest in learning functions.
