Challenges And Solutions To Cultivating Middle School Students' Core Values In The Context Of The Internet Culture

The core value of socialism is our country's mainstream values.It is based on Marxist ideas and incorporates the laws of the development of the socialist road with Chinese characteristics.It absorbs and integrates the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,and undertakes the achievements of human excellence in culture.It also concentrates the most widespread consensus in society.However,with the advent of the Internet era,multiculturalism has converged in the virtual world of the Internet,and China has gradually formed a large-scale group of Internet users.Among them,the number of young Internet users is high,and Internet culture has infiltrated all aspects of young people's lives,which is bound to affect the cultivation of core values of middle school students.In this dissertation,a case study method was used to take a secondary school in Chongqing as an example.Through questionnaires,interviews,and other methods,this paper collected the first-hand data on how to cultivate students' core values in this school.In line with the principle of universality in particularity,through the analysis of the challenges brought by the online culture to the cultivation of core values of the students,This paper sums up some of the common challenges faced by the cultivation of the core values of middle school students in the current context of online culture.This study helps to proceed from the current reality,link theory with practice,and propose concrete and feasible solutions to practical problems.This article is divided into four parts.In the first part,the author expounds related concepts and theories,and analyzes the necessity of strengthening the cultivation of core values of middle school students in the context of network culture.The second part,through questionnaire survey,analyzes the positive influence and challenge of network culture on the cultivation.From the results of the survey,one aspect of the Internet culture has improved the exchange values of middle school students,shaped the political values of their democracy and equality,improved the moral values of their social responsibility,and cultivated their consumption values ahead of rights protection.On the other hand,online culture has also weakened their national consciousness,concept of honesty and the legal system.The third part focuses on the analysis of the reasons why online culture challenges middle school students' core values.First of all,teachers are the most important subjects for the cultivation of core values of middle school students.However,some teachers themselves do not believe in socialist core values and lack recognition of them.Thus in the cultivation for students,boring teaching methods are used.These teachers only pay attention to theoretical propaganda and ignore students' psychological identification.Therefore,teachers do not play their due role in nurturing core values.Secondly,in terms of responsibilities of schools,in the context of exam-oriented education,schools paid too much attention to the student's score for the results of the college entrance examination and ignored the improvement of the overall quality of students.Thirdly,at the social level,the relevant legislation is not enough,the relevant departments do not enforce the laws strictly,and there is a lack of supervision of the online world,which makes it possible to spread the decadent and backward Internet culture.In addition,the family is the cradle of student growth,and parents are the ultimate important teachers of students.While in the development of the Internet today,they lacks a correct and comprehensive understanding of the Internet culture.Besides,they lack guidance for the rational use of the Internet for students,and even their own use of the Internet cannot lead by example.With high curiosity,poor self-control and poor ability to discriminate,therefore,these middle school students can easily become addicted to the Internet.In the last part,according to the reasons,the author puts forward the basic countermeasures of using network culture to cultivate middle school students' core values.To enable students to form the correct values in the influence of network culture,This requires multiple parties to work together.Parents,teachers,schools,and society need to make a difference to form a concerted effort to promote the formation of correct values for middle school students and help them to grow into healthy people to make contributions to our society.The innovation of this article lies in the cultivation of core values for middle school students that can be combined with local cultural resources,such as the local red culture,close to students,close to life,and close to reality to enhance the effectiveness of the cultivation of core values.
