The teaching material of chemistry was based on General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard,The teaching material column,as the carrier of teaching content,is an important medium to carry out teaching activities for the teacher and studying activities for the student.The Taiwan and The Mainland are of the same origin,due to the reasons of modern history,however,Education in Taiwan has been influenced heavily by developed countries such as Japan and the UK for a long time,and its education reform has been in the forefront.In terms of compilation of chemistry teaching materials,There was a certain gap.In recent years,Education communication is getting better and better with the increasing frequency of bilateral exchanges between young people in the Taiwan and the Mainland.Taiwan is an inalienable part of our country,Therefore,comparing the basic educational materials used in the Taiwan and the Mainland conforms to the requirements of the times,and it can promote the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.Many methods such as literature method,investigation method,mathematical statistics method,rechtsvergleichung method and experimental methodology were adopted mainly in this research.Six parts were contained in this paper: The first part was the foreword,this chapter was mainly the research background of the topic;the domestic and international research status about comparison of chemistry textbooks and second classroom was analyzed.There were few studies on comparison of chemistry textbooks between Mainland and Taiwan province,and these studies lacked a microcosmic comparisons,most studies in the second classroom was focused on higher education,There was less research on the second classroom in senior middle school chemistry,and there was no systematic method for developing the second classroom;the purpose,significance,ideas and methods of this study was expounded.The second part was mainly the theoretical basis of this study,'Constructivism theory','Zone of proximal-development theory','learning theories of Humanistic psychology' and'comparative education' were introduced,The core concept of 'chemistry textbook','teaching material column','second classroom' and 'development' were defined based on data access.In the third part,it was found out that the attitudes and expectations of the teachers and students on the chemistry textbook column by analyzing the data of the current questionnaire survey of the teaching materials,Chemistry 1 and Chemistry 2.In the fourth part,the compulsory textbooks Chemistry 1 and Chemistry 2 of PEP in mainland with the basic chemistry 1,2 and3 of Quanhua Publication in Taiwan was regard as the object,combining with the setting of high school chemistry curriculum structure,compilation basis,type and function,quantity,content and illustration of senior school chemistry teaching materials column were compared.The main features and shortcomings of the teaching materials column were summarized.Some suggestions are provided for the compilation of mainland high school chemistry textbooks.In the fifth part,the specific steps for developing the second classroom textbook based on the improvement and integration of the textbooks column were developed,and the cases of 'Chemical energy and electric energy','Ion reaction','Two common organics in the life','several important metal compounds','The periodic table' were developed.In order to provide materials for the extracurricular activities of high school students in our country and reference for the second class of chemistry research,the effect of case teaching were understood by experimental research.The sixth chapter was the summary and prospect of the research.The results of this research was enumerated,the reflection on this research was made,and the references for follow-up research were put forward.Through this study,my understanding of textbooks and classes were deepen,some referable suggestion about high school chemistry textbook column writing were put forward,and some materials about the second classroom teaching activities was provided for the middle school chemistry teachers.
