Now the new curriculum reform of the elementary education in our country is carried on deeply. The teaching material is the medium link between the curriculum program and the teaching and learning in the classroom. The compilation and the applicability of the teaching material limit the implementation and popularization of the new curriculum greatly and have tight connection with the result of the reform of the elementary education .In this dissertation the topic of the compilation and the applicability with the case study of the trial teaching material curriculum of compulsory education of nine years .mathematics.The dissertation consists of foreword, the study context, the theory basis, the study object and method, the study result and analysis and the conclusion and advice.Foreword: the meaning of the study topic will be introduced related with the present curriculum reform of the elementary education in our country.The study context: the curriculum reform of the elementary education in our country will be introduced firstly and then the importance of teaching material in the curriculum reform will be stated. And the importance of mathematics in the elementary education will be stated too related with the mathematics reform in the world.The theory basis: the meaning and the importance of teaching material analysis will be explained and the method will be introduced too.The study object and method: the two study objects, curriculum of compulsory education of nine years .mathematics and the teachers and the students ,that are concerned with the study will be introduced.The study result' and analysis: the new teaching material will beanalyzed from 2 aspects .one aspect is the teaching material itself and the other is the teaching material in the practice .In the later the teaching material will be analyzed from the ideas of the teachers and teaching and learning in the classroom and the change of the students.The conclusion and advice: the conclusion that the compilation of curriculum of compulsory education of nine years ?mathematics is successful and the applicability is high will be drawn. But there is something that needs to improve too. And some advice on the compilation of teaching material of the compulsory education will be put forward finally.
