The Research Of "Shidu" Person's Psychological Counseling By RET

The family planning policy was adopted in our country at the end of1970 s.Many families answered the call of one-child policy so that there exist more and more single-child families which actually are risk families.The uniqueness and non-replacement of the only child make the single-child families more risky than those non-single-child families."Shidu" family comes in the loss of the only child due to accidents,illness and suicide."Shidu" person is confronted with the difficulty of poverty,supporting old people,psychological pressure,etc.Poverty is easier to be solved,and government and all sectors of society give "Shidu" groups some policy support and material help.However,the spiritual attack and hurt are irreparable,and this psychic trauma will accompany them a lifetime.Through the literature review,there are little scholars to study the "Shidu" person,especially the "Shidu" person's psychological level from the perspective of social work.So this article is processing a case support,aiming at "Shidu" person's psychological counseling.Take Z case of Xincun street in Jiangan district as an example.Firstly,this paper introduces the fundamental state of the case,and forecasts and analyzes the problems so as to develop a reasonable service plan.Secondly,this paper elaborates the process of using RET to carry out psychological counseling services and correct irrational cognition of "Shidu" person so as to improve his psychological and living conditions.Thirdly,help service object to improve the social support network;improve the relationship between service object and his wife so as to obtain more social support;encourage service object to participate in community activities so as to promote his social integration.Finally,reflect on the whole service process.Test intervention effect and changes of the service object,and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of rational emotive therapy intervention in "Shidu" person's psychological counseling,which will provide some practical experience for social work intervening "Shidu" person.This article is a exploratory study of using RET to intervene "Shidu" person.Hope it will provide some reference for the assistance of "Shidu" person.
