The new wave of globalization is driven by the Fourth Science and Technology Revolution with information as the core.On the one hand,it has not only promoted China's further integration into globalization,but also accelerated the friendly exchanges between China and the international community.On the other hand,the various ideologies of the West continue to infiltrate and influence the undergraduates of our country through various methods,leaving them outside the mainstream values,in order to eliminate the influence of mainstream ideology.Mainstream ideology is a ideology which dominated by a society in a certain period of time,including political ideology,morality,and philosophy.In the Report of the Party's Nineteenth Congress,Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of doing a good job of ideology and classified ideology as an integral part of the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics.As a fresh force for socialist construction with Chinese characteristics in the new era,what kind of ideology university students hold is crucial to the future development of China and even to the realization of the Chinese dream.Based on the globalization background,the relevant theories of globalization and mainstream ideology education,this paper analyzes the problems existing in current mainstream ideological education among Chinese college students,the causes,and finds specific solutions to the current problems.The first part of the introduction mainly includes: the selection basis and significance of the mainstream ideology education in colleges and universities in the context of globalization,a summary of research at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,and research topics are expected to be innovative.The most important feature of the introduction is that based on the theoretical significance and practical significance of the selected topic,the in-depth analysis of the domestic and foreign research achievements in this area is insufficient.It provides an important basis for the study of the mainstream ideological education of college students in the context of globalization.Academic support also brings some reference value to other researchers.The second part of the related concepts and theoretical foundations mainly define and sort out relevant concepts and basic theories such as globalization,mainstream ideology,and mainstream ideology education.In particular,it further analyzes the challenges that globalization has brought to the mainstream ideological education of college students andthe special strategic significance of strengthening the mainstream ideological education of undergraduates in the context of globalization.This has highlighted and clarified the importance of essay research.The third part analyzes the current status and influencing factors of mainstream ideology education for undergraduates in the context of globalization,and systematically analyzes the current status and causes of undergraduates' ideological morality and mainstream ideology in the context of globalization,especially from the perspective of higher education ideological and political education.Problems existing in undergraduates' mainstream ideology education in the background of globalization.The fourth part studies the principles and countermeasures of the mainstream ideological education of college students in the context of globalization.This part systematically studies the mainstream ideological education strategies for undergraduates in the context of globalization in terms of thought leading,curriculum leading,team building,campus harmony,platform building,and mechanism guarantee.In a word,as the backbone of future social development,college students are exposed to more knowledge and things,have mastered a large amount of cultural and scientific knowledge,have a high degree of consciousness and a strong ability to accept.It is a long and arduous task to conclude mainstream ideology.From the perspective of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,colleges and universities must actively strengthen the mainstream ideological education of college students by actively participating in the process of globalization with an open attitude,and gradually improve the existing problems in the mainstream ideological education of universities,such as the form of a single entity,the lagging concept,and other issues.The ideological characteristics of the Party have strengthened its ability for independent thinking and exploration,and gradually changed from the external control of teachers and rules and regulations to the self-discipline of the mind.Schools should also proceed from the three dimensions of party committees,teachers,and students,and establish corresponding security systems,so as to further strengthen the depth and breadth of mainstream ideological education for college students.
