Analysis Of Operational Dilemma Of Anti-Drug Social Workers

With the Anti-drug Law of the People's Republic of China promulgated in June 2008,the transition,from the traditional "judicial punishment model" based on compulsory isolation to the "physiological-psychological-social rehabilitation moder" led-by-the-community.It has laid an important position in the drug rehabilitation system in our country.As a pioneer,Shanghai set up the first anti-drug social service organization under the leadership of Shanghai Politics and Law Committee in 2003,and began the exploration of professional social workers 'intervention in community drug rehabilitation,which finally achieved good social results.At the same time,as a new thing,the practice of anti-drug social workers will inevitably face all kinds of challenges.Taking a drug rehabilitation institution in Shanghai as an example,this paper collects data by participating in observation,literature analysis and interviews during the practice,with a view to discussing and analyzing the operational dilemma of social workers involved in drug rehabilitation in the community from the specific practice areas and facing these problems.The coping strategies of toxic social workers,so as to summarize the experience of local work.From the results of the study,social workers in the actual operation process of drug control,the establishment of professional relations,the implementation of the plan,effectiveness evaluation and other aspects of professional competence,social environment,as well as the particularity of the object of service and other pressures.Under the current background,social workers have formed a set of feasible coping strategies in the process of practical operation.Through the experience transmission between social workers at different service levels and the establishment of a complete supervision system,they can effectively help cope with the difficulties in practice and improve the service effectiveness through the flexible transformation between different identities.
