Approaches to learning as an important field of children's learning and development,increasingly brought to the attention of the researchers at home and abroad,it not only can predict children's academic achievement in the future,but also have important significance to all aspects of its development.On the basis of consulting literature and sorting out the data,the author selects the relationship between approaches to learning and language ability of 5-6 years old children as the research point.In this study,150 children from 5 large classes in a kindergarten in Linfen were selected as the research objects.The children's school readiness evaluation(Language)scale compiled by Professor Liu Yan,Beijing Normal University,was used to test the language ability of children;Combining with the "Quality of Children's Approach to Learning Assessment Form" compiled by Prof.Xiaoxia Feng and the "Approach to Learning Measurement Scale" compiled by the "Guidelines for the Learning and Development of Children aged 3-6 Years",we compiled the "Preschool Children's approaches to learning Assessment." Table,to assess the child's approaches to learning.Finally,using SPSS23.0 to enter the data and statistical analysis,the results show that:First,the quality of 5-6 years old children's learning is in the upper middle level,initiative score with the highest active score,followed by independence,followed by curiosity,perseverance,goal awareness,resistance to frustration,and finally imagination and creativity,concentration,and reflection and explanation;there are significant differences in two dimensions between imagination and creativity,reflection and interpretation;there are significant differences in the total scores and dimensions of the approach to learning of children;different fathers have different levels of education and they have significant differences in the four dimensions of goal awareness,frustration ability,curiosity and independence;The level of mother's culture has a greater impact on the approaches to learningof the children.The family economic income is different,and there are significant differences in the nine dimensions of children's approaches to learning.Second,the language ability of 5-6 years old children is in the middle-upper level,with the best performance in listening conversion,spatial perception,and pre-reading skills;secondly in subtle differences in recognition and listening comprehension;and in the conversion of eye movements,reading comprehension,and oral expression;the worst performance in the three aspects of the previous writing skills;there are significant differences in the two dimensions of reading comprehension,oral expression and pre writing skills among children of different sexesIn addition to listening comprehension,there are significant differences in the total number of children's language ability and the seven other dimensions in the other seven dimensions;Father's education level is different,the children only subtle differences in the recognition of this dimension is significant;There are significant differences in the five major dimensions of the family economic income,such as total scores of linguistic ability of large class children,subtle differences recognition,listening comprehension,eye-movement conversion,reading comprehension and oral expression,and pre-writing skills.Third,There is a significant positive correlation between the total score of approach to learning and each dimension and the total score of language ability.Except for spatial perception,there is a positive correlation between language ability and each dimension of large class children and the total score of approach to learning.children's approaches to learning has significant prediction on the language ability,there are six dimensions into the regression equation,respectively is the reflection and interpretation,object consciousness,initiative,persistence,anti frustration ability and imagination,which reflection and interpretation and predict the greatest intensity,can predict language 81.8%.Based on the research results,this study aims at bringing up children's approaches to learning and language skills and making recommendations to the education administration department,educators and parentsThe education management department should set up relevant departments to conduct research on the sub-fields of approaches to learning;at the same time,it should also promote the evaluation of the approaches to learning and languageability of preschool children.Educators should establish close relationships with children;select and use high-quality early education curriculum models;learn to use scientific assessment systems to evaluate various aspects of early childhood development;and focus on cultivating children's approaches to learning and language skills.Training,and pay attention to gender differences.The family should provide a good environment and atmosphere for the development of early childhood;pay attention to the influence of the mother on the learning quality and language ability of the child;strengthen the father's influence on the child's learning quality and language ability;and pay attention to the influence of reflection and interpretation on children's language ability.
