With the implementation of Compulsory education Curriculum standard in different places,our country advocates the quality education strongly and accelerates education modernization.The limitations of teacher-centered classroom teaching in improving students'learning initiative,enthusiasm and cultivation of students' innovation ability are becoming more and more obvious.The mathematics learning needs of junior middle school students can not be fully satisfied from the teacher-centered classroom.With the rapid development of information technology,the relationship between information technology and mathematics teaching is becoming closer.How to play the biggest advantage of information technology?How to help the students in mathematics learning better?How to help the students improve their ability to solve math problems All of these questions become a common concern and discussion among the majority of teachers and educators.Based on geometric sketchpad,middle school mathematics experiment teaching is a new teaching method which is closely integrated with mathematics and information technology.In the teaching of mathematics experiment,the mathematics educator explored from different angles and put forward different viewpoints.Professor Cao Yiming from Beijing normal university put forward that mathematical experiment is to obtain some kind of mathematical theory,to test a mathematical guess,to solve a certain kind of mathematical problem.And the experimenters use certain physical means to explore and research in a specific experimental environment with the participation of mathematical thinking activities.This article studies the use of Geometry Sketchpad to carry out teaching of junior middle school mathematics experiments.Developing junior middle school mathematics experiment teaching can help students to master the connection between mathematics knowledge;it can help stimulate students' interest in mathematics;it can enrich students' experience in mathematics activities;and it can improve students' ability of analyzing and solving problems.This paper discusses the teaching of junior high school mathematics based on sketchpad.First,how is the current state of mathematics experiments based on Geometry?Second,why do we carry out mathematics experiment teaching in middle school?Thirdly,can the geometric sketchpad be used as the tool to carry out junior middle school mathematics experiment?Forthly,how does the teaching of junior high school mathematics experiment based on geometric sketchpad affect students?What effect does it have on teachers?Through literature research and education experiment,the author explored the teaching of junior middle school mathematics based on geometric sketchpad and drew the following conclusions:First,most mathematics teachers do not have good knowledge of mathematics experiments,but are willing to try mathematics experiments.Second,it is necessary to carry out mathematical experiment teaching in junior high school.In this paper,the author knows about the mathematics experiment,and expounds the necessity of carrying out the mathematical experiment in junior high school,combining the basic education curriculum reform,the mathematical obligation education curriculum standard and the traditional mathematics teaching existence.Thirdly,geometric sketchpad is feasible as a platform for mathematical experiment.Geometric sketchpad has powerful animation function;rich transform function,excellent tracking function,accurate calculation measurement,convenient function image and the magic of iterative function.Because of the implementation of these functions of the geometric sketchpad,it is feasible to carry out the mathematical experiment.Fourthly,the mathematics experiment teaching of junior middle school based on geometric sketchpad has improved students' math performance,stimulated students' interest in learning mathematics,and aroused students' initiative in learning mathematics.Fifthly,the teaching of junior high school mathematics based on geometric sketchpad can help to improve the teaching design ability of teachers and enhance the consciousness of integrating information technology and mathematics discipline.
