In recent years,the development of the tourism economy and the degree of competition in the hotel industry have also increased,prompting hotel companies to seek transformation,upgrading and innovation.As a labor-intensive industry,hotel employees are the core competitiveness of hotel companies in the process of shifting from the Red Sea strategy to the Blue Ocean strategy.While expanding the scale of training,hotel companies are paying more and more attention to the effectiveness of training.The quality of hotel staff training directly determines the soft power of hotel development.This study aims to apply the basic ideas of knowledge,learning,teaching,and teacher-student views in constructivist theory,guide hotel staff training,and enhance the professionalism,training content and actual fit of internal trainers(trainers).The degree,the degree of matching between the training method and the training content,and the effectiveness of the training effect on the employee's work.Through the guidance of constructivist theory,the traditional training methods and training concepts are changed,and the importance of the training process is emphasized.Thus,the drawbacks of traditional training are abandoned,and the survival status of employees is changed,which directly affects corporate performance.This paper uses the literature method to study the characteristics of training,research status,development trends,and the basic content of constructivist theory.Then,through the questionnaire method,the relationship between hotel staff training and constructivist theory is investigated.Finally,the status quo of hotel staff training was investigated through interviews.Based on the collected data,the paper analyzes and summarizes the specific strategies for applying the constructivist theory to hotel staff training.The first chapter mainly expounds the basic content of research background,research significance,research methods,and innovations of this research.The second chapter mainly introduces the basic contents of the concept of knowledge,learning,teaching,and teacher and student in the theory of constructivism.At the same time,the current research literature on training is organized and summarized.The third chapter mainly studies the relationship between constructivism theory and hotel staff training.Through the comparative analysis of hotel staff training and tourism college education,the characteristics of hotel staff training are summarized,and the correlation between constructivism theory and hotel staff training is investigated through questionnaires.The survey results are analyzed and the relevant claims of constructivism theory are summarized.Applicable field in the process of hotel staff training.The fourth chapter mainly describes the current situation of hotel staff training.Through the hotel human resources manager(HR)Department managers(and internal trainers),front-line employees to conduct interviews,understand the status quo of hotel training in many aspects,and analyze and summarize the collected information from the aspects of trainers,training organization,hotel staff and so on.The fifth chapter puts forward the specific application countermeasures of constructivism theory in the training of hotel staff based on the basic content of constructivism theory and the specific results of investigation and analysis.It is described in terms of application principles,training needs,training environment,training content,training methods,and evaluation mechanisms.The sixth chapter is a summary of this study.Reflect on the shortcomings of this research and look forward to future related research.
