| In recent years,with the high speed development of social economy,science and technology bring great conveniences to us,and at the same time make the distance between man and man,man and nature farther and farther.Besides,it also makes people living in a tense environment increase their mental pressure,which leads to the emergence of suicide,homicide and other murderous and life-neglecting incidents.All of these factors not only threaten the survival of adults,but also affect the living environment of pupils.Frequent suicides,homicides and accidents of pupils have to arouse our attention and thinking.Therefore,carrying out life education in primary school and the study of relevant theories research are of great significance to the physical,mental growth and overall development of primary school students,which is an urgent requirement for the development of this era.On the basis of questionnaire investigation and interview method,this study combined with the related theories and researches of life education and elementary education.Through sending out questionnaires to pupils of different classes in grade 3 to 6 of S primary school in T city and interviewing some teachers of this school,we made an in-depth investigation and analysis of the current situation of life education in this school and pupils’ understanding of life,and found that the school had the following problems in the process of life education: the importance of life education in the school still needs to be enhanced;the content of life education is too single;lack of teachers in life education;the degree of life education participation of non-school personnel is not high;the evaluation form of life education is too simple and some students’ understanding of life is not accurate enough,etc.The reasons are as follows: first,the restriction of traditional culture to the enlightenment and implementation of life education;second,the bad effects of social development;third,the life education is despised by the school education;fourth,the lack of life education in family education;fifth,the characteristics of pupils’ self-development make the effect of life education not good.In view of the problems existing in the development of life education in S primary school,the following suggestions and countermeasures are put forward on the basis of the analysis of the causes: 1.Strengthen the school’s emphasis on the concept of life education;2.Creating an atmosphere filled with the warmth of life and humanistic care in the school;3.Improving the curriculum resources of life education and strengthening the teaching staff;4.Establishing a scientific and rational evaluation system of life education;5.Forming the joint force of life education among school,society and family.To a certain degree,these suggestions and countermeasures can provide reference for the development of life education in other primary schools. |
