Mao Zedong's poems are of great literary and historical values.Their creative contents are closely related to the background of China's new democratic revolution at modern times and China socialist construction.They are important materials for studying modern and contemporary Chinese history,which are widely used in the teaching of modern and contemporary in high schools.Applying Mao Zedong's poems to the teaching of modern Chinese history in high schools reflects the fine tradition of the integration of knowledge and history in the teaching.It conforms to the requirements of curriculum standards and historical materials teaching of ordinary high school which is the objective need of inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and strengthening the education of revolutionary tradition in the new era.It is also an important way to select poetry materials in the college entrance examination.In the current teaching practice of Chinese modern history in high schools in China,Mao Zedong's poems are important teaching resources.Teachers and students pay different attention to it and make use of it.Students' understanding to the connection between Mao Zedong's poetry and Chinese modern history is low and teachers neglect the systematic arrangements,practices and explorations of Mao Zedong's poems in teaching,to some extent,which affects the teaching quality of Chinese modern history and the leaning efficiency of students.How to optimize the application of Mao Zedong's poems in the teaching of modern Chinese history in senior high schools is an important subject for history teachers to study in depth.The reasonable introduction of Mao Zedong's poems in classroom introduction,historical scene reproduction and historical data application can help students fully understand the knowledge of modern Chinese history,enhance their historical feelings and stimulate their interest in learning history.At the same time,through extracurricular study and extracurricular activities about Mao Zedong's poems,further implementing revolutionary traditional education and cultivating students' feelings of home and country,Mao Zedong's poems can realize their due values in the teaching of modern Chinese history.The introduction part of the thesis explains the reasons of selecting the topic.Itexplains the practical significance and application values of the topic from the aspects of curriculum standards and requirements of historical materials teaching,and analyzes the research status and the content that needs further research through relevant literature.The first part is the investigation of the current situation of Mao Zedong's poetry in the teaching of modern and contemporary history.Through the analysis of the students' questionnaires and interviews for teachers in Tianshui City's Middle School,it can be found the real problems in teaching process of Mao Zedong's poems.The second part is the corresponding arrangements of knowledge between Mao Zedong's poems and the teaching contents of modern Chinese history.It sorts correspondingly Mao Zedong's poetry and the textbook contents of Chinese modern history in high school,supplements the creative background of his poetry and arranges the relevant knowledge.The third part is the application strategy and suggestion of Mao Zedong's poetry in the teaching of modern Chinese history in high school.This part proposes corresponding teaching strategies according to the problems existing in teaching,the content of teaching materials and the corresponding situation of poetry.The fourth part is the teaching cases.In this section,the teaching practice and reflection of applying Mao Zedong's poetry to the teaching through the teaching practice provide a new reference for the proper application of Mao Zedong's poetry in history teaching.The part of conclusion summarizes the problems existing in the research and proposes the prospect for the future about the correlative study.
