Our country has the tradition of combining literature and history and the tradition of poem education.Applying poems to middle school history teaching is not only the inheritance of tradition,but also the need of innovative teaching.This paper takes the application of poems on history in middle school history teaching as the topic to discuss the application of poetry materials in history teaching.Through investigations and interviews,it was found that there are several problems in the history teaching of historical poems in middle schools.On this basis,a large number of cases were used in a targeted manner,divided into sections,targeted at pre-learning,classroom introduction,situation creation,material reading and activity classes,the historical poem materials are used in middle school history teaching practice.Some important cases have been reviewed by many teachers with rich practical experience,so as to carry out teaching reflections in order to improve the teaching of poetry and historical materials.On the basis of in-depth analysis of each link in teaching,it is proposed that the teaching of historical poetry materials should meet the following points: distinguish the educational objectives and academic conditions of different school segments;select materials is mainly based on teaching needs,both artistic and popular;application the time fits students' psychology,and considers the different characteristics of middle and high school students;infiltration and integration of the same language and literature subject but highlighting the characteristics of the history subject;attach importance to the role of reading and recitation;teachers must have sufficient knowledge and ability reserves.This article provides a new case for the teaching of poetry and historical materials,and considers new ways of application.
