| Games are the basic activities of kindergarten education,and traditional folk games are also a kind of games.Their playing methods and forms conform to the characteristics of children’s psychological development.They can satisfy the psychological characteristics of children who like to imitate and play.They can promote the development of children’s health,cognition and sociality,and contain rich value of early childhood education.With the development of urbanization in China,more than half of school-age children still live in the countryside.Developing traditional folk games in Rural Kindergartens not only helps kindergartens to build characteristic culture,but also enriches the game content of rural children,brings more pleasant emotional experience to children,and promotes their comprehensive and harmonious development.This study mainly uses observation,interviews and questionnaire to investigate the current situation of traditional folk games in Rural Kindergartens in S County,Shanxi Province.From the aspects of preschool teachers’ cognition and attitude to traditional folk games,the specific situation of traditional folk games(including types,frequency,time,duration,participation of children and teachers’ organizations,guidance,etc.),the development and application of traditional folk games resources and the external support conditions of traditional folk games,this paper aims to understand the opening of traditional folk games in rural kindergartens.The overall situation of the exhibition,and we know that there are the following problems in the development of traditional folk games in Rural Kindergartens in S County of Shanxi Province: the recognition and behavior of kindergartens teachers are not consistent,the guidance needs to be further strengthened,the development and utilization of resources is insufficient,and the environment and conditions for the development of traditional folk games in Rural Kindergartens need to be further improved.Based on this situation,the reasons are analyzed from the aspects of preschool teachers,kindergartens,parents and society.Finally,according to the specific problems and causes,suggestions are put forward to improve the effectiveness of traditional folk games in Rural Kindergartens from the aspects of teachers,kindergartens,parents and society. |
