The protection and development of children have become a concern of the community with the advancement of children's welfare in China.In recent years,the incidents of children's infringements have been frequently exposed.It is also shocking and also encourages the community to spend more time and energy on child protection.In respect,“children in distress”,as a special group in the children's group,has aroused the attention of all sectors of society,especially the social work industry.Resilience is the trait and ability that everyone has.It enables people to make correct decisions when they are in trouble.Resilience is an ability to adapt,even in the face of misfortune,to overcome difficulties and grow healthily.During the internship period,the author designed and carried out eight group activities to raise the resilience of the children in distress by serving the children in distress in the G city rescue management station.The service process is carried out in strict accordance with the general process model of social work practice.In the early stage,the needs of children in distress are analyzed through interviews and observations.Because of the high homogeneity of demand,the sense of belonging and optimism of group work from resilience is used.The three dimensions of efficacy and communication,goal setting,difficult response,emotional processing,resource exploration,and environmental safety are used to improve the resilience of children in distress.This paper mainly studies the role of group work in the improvement of the resilience of children in distress.Through the evaluation of the victim and the self-evaluation of social workers,the intervention effect of the group work is investigated.Finally,group work has a positive guiding significance for improving the resilience of children in distress.
