Study On The Transition Defensive Characteristics Of Men’sbasketball In The Final Eight Of The 31st Olympic Games

The Chinese men’s basketball team did not perform well in the 2016 Olympic Games.They failed in all the five group games and were out of the competition.Not only the overall offensive scoring ability is weak,the lack of defense is to allow the opponent.By studying the defensive characteristics of the men’s basketball team in the last eight of the 2016 Olympic Games,this paper tries to analyze the defensive principles,strategies,techniques and tactics of the world’s top teams,so as to help us understand the latest development trend of the world’s men’s competitive basketball and provide a basis for basketball training at all levels in China.This paper takes the converted defensive characteristics of the men’s basketball team in the last eight of the 31st Olympic Games as the research object,adopts the research methods of literature,video observation,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis,and finally describes the characteristics of the converted defensive characteristics from the two major parts of defensive fast break and defensive transition attack,and draws the following conclusions:1.At present,there is no complete and clear definition of conversion defense.In this paper,conversion defense is divided into two aspects:defensive fast attack and defensive transition attack.2.The eight-strong team adopts the strategy of accelerating the retreat of nearby players to their own half when blocking a cross in the defense of fast break;The defenders take close pressure defense to force them to push to the sideline;The defense quickly under the players to seize the attack line,adhere to the principle of not to break through the middle.Presenting the protection inside line;controlling the running direction and response of the ball,focusing on the key features of the key personnel3.The top eight teams take the ball as the center and protect the restricted area as the main part in the offensive basic cooperation in the defensive connecting section,and then focus on the defense of key players.Eight strong teams to join the segment of the attack with sudden distribution and cover with the majority of cooperation,cutting and coordination with more times.The eight strong teams have a high success rate of defensive cross and cover cooperation,but a low success rate of defensive penetration and coordination.
