Ideology is the core of core literacy and the essence of discipline,and the new focus of future development can be only achieved through grasping the essence of discipline.The interdisciplinary dynamic integration has become the new focus of future development,the requirement of an innovative society and the approach to constructing systematic and overall core literacy.However,the researches on the interdisciplinarity of math and biology are in the bottleneck period.The research theme is determined based on this thought,the main research aspects include the present situation of and the way of promoting rational thinking in junior biology using mathematical thought.This research makes an analysis of Chengdu junior biology general examinations in the past five years through statistical analysis.It is discovered that the teaching guideline and the awareness of students and teachers in mathematical thought areimproving by years.Meanwhile,however,the application of mathematicalthought lacks in depth and extensiveness,students only have a vague understanding in scientific concept,and teachers lack the method and the awareness of embedding mathematical thought into biology teaching.Four teaching strategies,situationalteaching strategy,progressiveteaching strategy,penetrative teaching strategy and systematic teaching strategy,are created through document analysis while using basic theories such as discovery learning theory,multiple intelligence theory,the idea of zone of proximal development,and STEAM theory;Seven typical cases of practice researchare designed using approaches including content analysis,statistical analysis and case analysis andwith the junior biology textbook of Beijing Normal University edition as the basis.Implicit in-depth knowledge points of mathematical thought in textbook analysis are revealed and a creative corresponding manual is made;What's more,it is found through comparing the pretest and posttest results of questionnaire survey that the transformation from misconception to scientific concept has achieved in students' ideology,and the awareness and ability of improving rational thinking in junior biology using mathematical thought are significantly increased.This research makes innovations by studying the practical in-depth disciplinaryintegrationfrom,especially the corresponding manual and seven typical cases that not only present regular teaching plans but also establishes a systematic and exercisablemodel of teaching suggestion by makingcreative trialsin experimental materials,experimental plan,teaching materials and teaching methods.This research shows the current situation of researches in this research direction in an objective way and confirms its own feasibility and value through practice.It provides reference and direction for a better integration and contributes to the prevailingSTEAM project-based teaching and practice researches related to core literacy.
