The interaction between teachers and children is a bridge between teachers and young children.High-quality interaction can not only improve children's ability to express their language and communicate with others,but also play an important role in the cultivation of their cognition,behavior habits and personality.The low-quality interaction between teachers and children will hinder the development of children's cognition and sociality.Most of the studies have been carried out to explore the interaction between teachers and children in collective teaching activities,ignoring the interaction between teachers and children in free activities,while the children in free activities are more bold,creative and imaginative.Good interaction between teachers and children can promote the further development of children and form a good relationship between teachers and children.This study adopts observation method,interview method and case analysis method to observe and study the teacher-child interaction behavior of 6 large classes in three kindergartens of different grades in Chengdu.605 teacher-child interaction events are collected,and through statistical analysis of the data,in-depth exploration is made.According to the characteristics of teacher-child interaction in the free activities of large classes,the results are as follows:First,the teacher is the leader of teacher-child interaction in free activities,the controller,and the young child is the controlled one.Second,the theme of teacher-child interaction in free activities is influenced by initiator,activity link and kindergarten.The specific performance is that there are many disciplinary constraints,which run through all aspects of free activities;teachers' guidance to young children is too superficial and subjective;teachers do not initiate the interaction of questioning;children's expression behavior is prominent;Interactive theme has tendency in different free activity links;interactive theme has tendency in different levels of kindergarten.Third,the nature of teacher-child interaction in free activities is influenced by initiator and activity link.The specific performance is that teachers initiate more neutral interaction;young children initiate positive interaction;the interactive nature has a tendency in different free activity links.Fourth,the interaction between teachers and children initiated by each other in free activities is mainly acceptance.Thematic differences influence interactive results;teachers' authority is strong.According to the above conclusions,the relevant recommendations are drawn:First,teachers should treat young children with respect and equality.Second,change the role of teachers and improve the quality of teacher-child interaction in free activities.Third,improve teachers' observation ability and promote effective teacher-child interaction.Fourth,improve teachers' appropriate response ability in teacher-child interaction.Fifth,Strengthen teacher training to improve the quality of teacher-child interaction.Sixth,kindergarten gives teachers a certain degree of autonomy and reasonably arranges free time for activities.Seventh,carry out home cooperation to improve parents' understanding of benign teacher-child interaction.
