In view of the 2017 edition of the General high school chemistry curriculum standards have not yet been implemented in Y City secondary schools,so the study of this paper to 2003 version of the General high school chemistry curriculum standards as the benchmark.The 2003 edition of the general high school chemistry curriculum standard clearly stated that “the fundamental purpose of the chemistry curriculum is to improve students scientific literacy chemistry” “chemistry experiments take extremely important role in improving students scientific literacy” but also the “teachers in the teaching of the course modules should strengthen the chemistry experiment and combined with the module characteristics” “ Carry out experiments to explore activities actively”.Y City has been implementing the reform of chemistry curriculum for 11 years since 2008,because of the differences in laboratory hardware facilities and the lack of opportunities for students to participate in experiments,the situation of experimental teaching has a direct impact on teachers and students ' improved innovation consciousness and practical operation ability,and ultimately related to the quality of high school chemistry experiment teaching.Guided by the concept of new curriculum standard and Constructivist learning theory,this paper investigates the teaching situation of chemistry experiment in four high schools in Y City.The questionnaire survey method and interview method are mainly used.The main target of the questionnaire was some senior students and chemistry teachers in four high schools in Y city,and the main target of the interview was some chemistry teachers and experimenters in four high schools in Y city,and the investigation is carried out from the early preparation,exploration process,exchange discussion and evaluation to expand four dimensions.Through the investigation,it is found that although the 2003 edition of General High school chemistry curriculum standards put forward clear requirements for chemistry experiment teaching,but in the practice of chemistry experiment teaching in Y City High School,it is found that the development of chemistry experiment teaching in four schools has yet to be improved.Therefore,this paper investigates the present situation of chemistry experiment teaching from the following aspects: The teaching situation of chemistry experiment,the Teaching resources of chemistry experiment,the students ' understanding and requirement of chemical experiment,etc.The results show that there are some differences in the construction and allocation of chemical laboratories in schools,and teachers are too single in the selection and evaluation of experimental contents.Through the analysis,it is found that the main reasons for the above problems are as follows: Although all schools attach great importance to the teaching of chemical experiments,we should also increase the improvement of the conditions of hard software facilities,teachers in the process of chemistry experiment teaching,in the content selection of more attention to examination-type experiments,in the teaching evaluation of the results of the evaluation;Some students have insufficient understanding of the importance of chemical experiments,etc.Aiming at the problems existing in chemistry experiment teaching,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for improvement: changing teachers ' teaching concept and attaching importance to individual education;improving chemical experimental conditions,enriching experimental teaching resources;paying attention to the selection of chemical experiment content,improving students ' comprehensive ability,and optimizing the evaluation mode of chemistry experiment teaching.The research results of this thesis are in order to provide reference for the implementation of the chemistry curriculum standard of Y City 2017 edition of General High School.
