New curriculum reform advocates that chemistry teaching should be carried out in a certain situation.Chemical history is a systematic and historical description of chemistry evolution in long-term practice.The integration of chemistry teaching with history has been widely recognized in theory and widely used in practice.There are abundant resources in the history of chemistry.Teachers can use these materials to create learning situations,fully arouse students' learning interest,help students understand the learning content,enhance students' sense of social responsibility,carry out patriotic education vividly,understand the relationship between chemistry,technology,society and the environment,guide students to understand the relationship between man and nature,recognize the important role of chemistry in promoting the sustainable development of society.The author first consulted and studied the relevant literature,found out the current situation of the research,and then conducted a survey on the status quo of situational teaching combined with the history of chemistry about 18 chemistry teachers in Yuanqu County and the students' interest in chemistry learning and the attitudes of situational education students in the junior middle school of Huafeng.It is concluded that the most students have a high interest in the subject of chemistry,situational teaching and history of chemistry,the majority of teachers can realize the important role of history of chemistry education and situational teaching which can improve students' comprehensive quality.But due to lack of theoretical and practical guidance,implementation effect is not ideal under the pressure of score and other reasons.According to the characteristics of history of chemistry,requirements of curriculum standard,students' cognitive features and knowledge level,author applied the selected chemical history material in the teaching process,prompted principle and strategy of combining chemical history to create teaching situation,and took teaching practice for the part of the content of seventh and eighth unit in the ninth grade.In the course of teaching,students are taken as the main body to participate in the process of acquiring knowledge independently and given opportunity to fully express their ideas.Finally,good results have been achieved.Combined with the history of chemistry,situational teaching can effectively improvestudents' learning interest,ability to think actively and solve problems,and make students look on the world dialectically and inherit the spirit of perseverance and selfless dedication of scientists.
