Body movements and expressions are the second largest language of human beings.Students' conscious or unconscious small movements in class can reflect students' learning state and progress to a certain extent. Therefore, for teachers,it is the most important thing to fully understand the meaning of students' every move in the classroom and formulate more reasonable teaching methods and strategies. This paper mainly observes and studies the geography classroom in senior high school. On the basis of reading the relevant literature, through interviews and questionnaires, this paper observes and collates the students'facial expressions and actions in class, and finally determines these actions(shaking head, bowing head, talking with classmates, looking blank, looking out of the window or outside the door)as the observation points of this paper. In the two classes X and Y,two high school geography lessons were given respectively, and the non-parametric test was carried out after the comparative analysis of the observation results. Therefore,it is of great significance to understand the changes of students' actions and expressions in high school geography class, and to put forward corresponding suggestions for teaching improvement for teachers,so as to improve students' learning effect.Through the research, the following conclusions are drawn:first, when putting forward the problem of introduction,we should accurately find the classroom entry point and close to interesting cases in life;secondly, when putting forward basic conceptual problems,we should arrange reviews for students in advance;thirdly, geography subject has a lot of knowledge of chart understanding, which requires teachers to strengthen the students' ability to read maps at ordinary times;finally, after class. When summarizing the knowledge points learned,we should let the students summarize more, and the teachers give supplements to deepen the students'memory and understanding.Through this study, teachers can flexibly respond to various emergencies in the classroom, fully grasp the classroom to provide some constructive suggestions,so as to improve the learning effect.
