Classroom research is the focus of teaching study, and evaluation to course between teachers is an essential way of classroom study. With the teaching and research staffs to the in-depth study of classroom teaching, classroom observation shows up prominently, and gradually forms a new paradigm of teaching evaluation and teaching research methods.Classroom observation is a process that the viewer gets clear purposes, with their own senses and related assistant tools (observational table, recording and video equipments),and collects information, directly or indirectly, from the classroom, and on the basis of information does the research.Compared to the traditional listening to evaluation,classroom observation is an overstep and development of traditional teaching evaluation.Observation of classroom observation has a clear purpose and object, any teaching in the classroom can be an observation point and choosing observation points should be noted to observe and record. Classroom observation scales are important tools for classroom observation, and it will differ depending on the observation point, and designing observation scales should take into accounts its operability and reflected observation purposes.Based on the present situation and characteristics of the middle school geography lectures activities, the emergence of the classroom observation provides an important way for promoting geographic lecture activities effectively. In this paper, try to apply classroom observation to middle school geography teaching, selecting geographical images teaching as an observation point, Geographic image teaching practice of classroom observation as a case, discussing classroom observation application process and method in geography teaching in the middle school, intended to provide references for starting observation activities in the geography classroom at the future.The research methods to thesis are mostly using the method of literature review, qualitative research methods, action research, surveys, case studies, statistical methods and so on. It can be divided into four sections and five chapters.The frist part is the chapter one and two.Mainly explained the basic thesis research,and the meaning and characteristics of classroom observation and its difference with traditional listening to evaluation. The second part is the chapter three. Mainly demonstrating the need of developing classroom observation. In this chapter,through investigating to analyse the present characteristics of middle school geography teachers to attend lectures activities, and evaluating the traditional evaluation to class. I reckon that the traditional evaluation to class can not meet the teachers’ strong learning needs,and more looking forward to participate in highly focused and specialized of evaluation activities.The third part is the chapter four. This section discusses three main issues:Firstly,geographical images teaching as an observation point, by developing observation scale——practicing and testing-feedback——adjusting and revising observation scale-practicing and testing again to explore and design high school geographical image teaching classroom observation scale, until the observation scale for observation purposes can clearly reflected, and has strong operability and effectiveness.Secondly,to explore the method of using high school geographical image teaching classroom observation scale it to practice geographical images teaching classroom observation.Thirdly,through practicing geographical image teaching classroom observation to analyse the significance of classroom observation on improving geography teaching and research level for young teachers.The fourth part is the chapter five.This is the core of thesis. This is the summary of this thesis research. This paper reckons that:Different observation points should be different observation scale, The observation scale should be designed according to the characteristics of the observation point,by developing observation scale——practicing and testing-feedback——adjusting and revising observation scale-practicing and testing again repeatedly,until the observation scale has strong operability and effectiveness; Effective classroom observations should be shared fully with the lecturers before class, faithfully record the classroom Information combined with the observation scale at observation, and observation analysis based on observation records, keepping observation point; Classroom observation to improve geography teaching and teaching and research for young teachers play an important role and significance.The innovation of this thesis study is to:(1) Geographical images teaching as an observation point,exploring the design process and method,and the designed observation scale has more obvious practical operation, providing practical basis and reference sample for designing geographical Classroom observation scale.(2)Exploring the method of using high school geographical image teaching classroom observation scale it to practice geographical images teaching classroom observation,providing evidence basis and reference to promote to further develop and promote geography classroom observation at the future.(3)By practicing geographical images teaching classroom observation to explore the function and significance of classroom observation on improving geography teaching and research level for young teachers...
