Reading teaching is an important component of Chinese teaching activities.It is also an important way for teachers to improve students' Chinese ability and cultivate their core literacy.The core of education is to answer the question of what kind of talents to train.Based on the development of our society,the selection criteria of talents have changed obviously.The ultimate goal of personnel training is to meet the actual needs of society.Therefore,high school reading teaching activities also need to adapt to the changes of society and make reasonable adjustments.From the original ability training to the cultivation and shaping of students' core literacy,the new teaching concept also provides guidance and direction for the cultivation of new talents.The core literacy theory pays attention to the development of students' key abilities and excellent character.In the new era,the education of our country has gradually changed from knowledge education and ability education to students'literacy education.Traditional Chinese reading teaching activities pay close attention to students' reading ability,which have some problems in both teaching methods and teaching purposes.However,in the cultivation of Chinese core literacy,the value of high school reading teaching activities has not been fully reflected,and reading teaching activities cannot meet the needs of the development of students' Chinese literacy.Therefore,this paper carries out a discussion on the investigation and research of the current situation of reading teaching in Yanji No.3 Senior Middle School under the core literacy of Chinese.Firstly,this paper puts forward the background,research purpose,significance and scope of this issue,and elaborates the value and significance of this paper writing.At the same time,it summarizes the previous research results,which provide the necessary theoretical basis for this paper writing.Secondly,this paper collects a large number of theoretical results related to this topic writing.Through reading,summarizing and researching the theoretical content,it draws the necessary theoretical basis for subsequent article writing,which provides guidance for later article writing.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of Chinese reading in senior high schools by means of questionnaires.It holds that there are some problems in the teaching of Chinese reading in senior high schools,such as neglecting the students' main position in the classroom,emphasizing knowledge learning while neglecting ability cultivation,etc.On students' perspective,some students have problems such as not correcting their learning mentality and neglecting Chinese subjects by parents and students.Finally,according to the problems mentioned above,this paper aims to solve them from two aspects of teachers and students.For example,teachers are required to renew teaching concepts and pay attention to teaching practice.On the other hand,students are required to correct their learning attitude and take the initiative to read,and they should also pay attention to the cultivation of reading interest,constantly improving their language literacy.The paper also explores learning activities for further optimizing Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools in the future,improving the quality of teaching,accelerating the overall development of high school students,and hope to provide reference for other high school reading teaching activities in China.
