| Teachers self-efficacy is a belief that their own teaching ability and professional knowledge can influence and help students.Teacher self-efficacy has an important impact on work engagement.Whether teachers feel energetic at work,whether they actively contributes their time and energy to help the students grow up,and whether they will put more energy into improving themselves than other teachers or these all influence.Teachers self-efficacy influence their motivational orientation at work,which in turn affects the specific actions taken by individuals.Teacher self-efficacy and work engagement are different from different teacher achievement goals.Based on this,this study takes middle school teachers as the research object and explores the mediating role of teacher achievement goals in teacher self-efficacy and work engagement.In the first study,the relationship between teachers self-efficacy and work engagement was discussed by the interviews of 10 middle high school teachers.The research found that teachers self-efficacy has a certain impact on job involvement,and will affect teachers ’work enthusiasm and work passion.In the second study,374 middle school teachers were surveyed in the Teacher Efficacy Scale,the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale and the Teacher Achievement Target Questionnaire.The results show that teachers with higher self-efficacy have higher work engagement,lower self-efficacy teachers and lower work engagement;There was a significant positive correlation between teachers self-efficacy and their achievement goals.There is a positive correlation between teacher achievement goal and work engagement.Task mastery goal,task avoidance goal,self-avoidance goal,other mastery goal and other avoidance goal play a part of mediating role between teachers self-efficacy and work engagement.In a word,this study makes an in-depth analysis of the relationship between teachers self-efficacy and work engagement,as well as the role of teachers achievement goals in the relationship between teachers self-efficacy and work engagement through empirical research.The research results put forward innovative and effective suggestions and opinions for the government and educational administrative departments to formulate reasonable professional principles for teachers,school management departments to refine the management of teachers’work and teachers’ own efficient work. |
