This paper reviews the studies of teaching efficacy and achievement goal including their theoretical construction and main conclusions from experimental studies. This thesis takes middle school teachers as subjects and uses teacher efficacy scale and achievement goal Questionnaire to explore influencing factors and developmental tendencies of teaching efficacy and achievement goal, and the relation between them. Conclusions are the followings: (l)There are remarkable teaching-age and title difference on teaching efficacy. Teachers' school, gender and education level haven't significant effects on teaching efficacy. (2)There is a fluctuant ascending tendency to the development of teaching efficacy including general teaching efficacy and personal teaching efficacy; and which proves the main ideas of the theory of teacher development. (3)There is significant school, gender, education level difference and not significant teaching-age difference on learning goal. School is the important factor related to performance goal; but teacheng age, gender and education level haven't significant effects on performance goal (4)Significant positive correlation is found to exist between teaching efficacy and learning goal; no significant negative correlation is found to exist between teaching efficacy and performance goal.
