In recent years, the incidence of autistic patients is increasing, and the number of children with autism is increasing. With the development of inclusive education, more and more children with autism are enrolled in general schools. As one of the core obstacles to autism, social dysfunction makes it difficult to adapt to the normal class. The interaction between them and their peers is difficult. If they are not properly supported, their social skills will be difficult to develop.Peer intervention is a way to improve the social ability of autistic children by selecting a good companion as a social companion and building a correct social model by training peers and autistic children. In many methods of social ability intervention for autistic children, this method is irreplaceable.Children with autism are no longer directly involved in the intervention, but promote the development of their social skills through the intermediary role of peers.Conducive to the maintenance and generalization of social behaviors of children with autism. This study aimed to investigate the effect of peer-mediated intervention on the social interaction of children with autism enrolled in general primary school. The research method adopts the single case design of the experimental design of multiple probe cross subjects, taking three children with autism in a general primary school in Chongqing as the research object, and then selects three companions from their class to receive peer-mediated intervention teaching together. The experimental data processing includes visual analysis, analysis of the number of social interactions of children with autism and the analysis of the number of peer social interactions. The social validity of the study was established by interviewing the class teacher and parents of the subject. The results show:1.Peer-mediated intervention method has a good immediate effect on the social interaction intervention of children with autism in general primary school.2.Peer-mediated intervention method has a good maintenance effect on the social interaction intervention of children with autism in general primary school.3.Peer intervention method has a good social validity for the social interaction intervention of children with autism in general primary school. On the basis of the above research, this study further discusses the teaching effectiveness and the factors affecting the teaching effectiveness, and puts forward suggestions for future teaching and research, which provides a reference for future teaching and research.
