Autism is the representative disease of extensive developmental disorders.Up to now,the cause of autism is not clear, but it can be identified as a congenital mental disease.According to relevant research, the number of people with autism is increasing year by year.Autism has also been widely concerned in China.Autism incidence rate is the highest among all kinds of mental disabilities.Since the diagnosis of autism was first described, social difficulty has been the defining feature of ASD.Social story therapy is one of the most effective interventions for social skill disorder of autistic children and adolescents, which was proposed by American scholar Carol Gray in 1993.The purpose of this study is to improve the peer interaction behavior of high-function autistic adolescents. The innovation of this study lies in the use of social story therapy,on the basis of social work practice,to explore the process and effect of case social work in improving peer interaction among autistic adolescents. The author takes a 17-year-old autistic youth Xiaozhou in XX disabled training institution in Nanjing as a case study, and individual case intervention and services has been carried out for nearly half a year.Based on the social story, according to the process proposed by the relevant materials, the author combines demonstration,role-playing,debate with irrational belief, reward and punishment to implement intervention.Quantitative analysis is made by the percentage of target behavior achieved and the number of target behaviors. In this study, the intervention target behaviors include "eye gaze","appropriate opening topic","appropriate ending topic","active helping","sharing","communicating with the opposite sex",and their effects are discussed.According to the results of relevant test table and data statistics, social story therapy has significant effect. In this study, the adaptability and peer interaction ability of autistic adolescents in institutions are enhanced, the quality of friendship is improved, inappropriate social behavior and loneliness are reduced, personal quality of life improved. However, this study has been carried out in institutions.Due to different natural situations, the positive behaviors learned by autistic adolescents in this study are also different in the use of natural situations, and the effect of extending to other age groups with different degrees of autism needs further observation and research.Through data analysis and feedback of behavior changes of autistic adolescents before and after treatment, the author draws the following conclusions:1.Social story therapy can improve the acquisition effect of some peer interaction behaviors of high-function autistic adolescents;2.After removing the social stories, the peer interaction behavior of high-function autistic adolescents can maintain the effect;3.The peer interaction behavior of autistic adolescents is low level and lack of initiative. It is necessary and key to motivate their peer interaction motivation in order to improve their peer interaction behavior.
