The speed of attack-defense transition in modern football matches is getting faster and faster.And the tactical arrangement of top teams in the World Cup attacking and defending conversion has also been paid more and more attention,and has a great impact on the winning or losing of the game.Through the methods of documentation,video observation and expert interview,this paper makes statistics and Analysis on the characteristics of all 28 matches of the top four teams in the 21 st World Cup,trying to find out the similarities and differences of the top teams in the world at the time of attack-defense transition.The following conclusions are drawn: 1.The number of times of the top four teams in the 21 st World Cup from defense to attack has obvious difference in different time periods.The number of times of the four teams in the first and fourth time periods is higher than the other four time periods.2.In the aspect of transition from defense to attack,stealing and stealing are the main means for the top four teams to obtain the opportunity from defense to attack.The number of stealing and stealing in front of England is much lower than that of the other three teams.Belgium has the highest number of breakthroughs among the four teams in terms of the characteristics of the way taken after the transition from defensive to offensive.In the direction of passing,the four teams use the most direct and oblique forward passes.3.The number of goals scored by Croatian and Belgian teams was slightly higher than that of the other two teams.4.The break of pass is the most frequent way of losing the ball from attack to defense,and the number of times of losing the ball by Croatian team is much lower than that of the other three teams.However,there is no significant difference in the way the four teams choose to fight back on the spot after losing the ball.5.In terms of the consequences of the transition from offense to defense,France is the most powerful team among the four teams to regain the ball right by pressing,and there is no significant difference in other aspects.
