In recent years,due to the growing number of students taking part in this special group of students,"Art Learning Fever" and Art Testing Fever" have become hot spots in the society.In order to develop better,art students spend a lot of time in the study of professional skills,and the study of cultural classes has a tendency to neglect.Most of the high school students in the arts and sports have a weak cultural foundation.Poor English results lead to a lack of interest in English learning,a serious lack of motivation,no strong will to persevere.They have a lot of problems with their English study.Artistic students are in the process of learning.Artistic students in the process of learning more prone to learning frustration,academic self-efficacy is low,very prone to boredom and drop out of school behavior.Therefore,the meaning of how to improve the sense of academic self-efficacy,enhance the positive feelings of English learning and improve the significance of English achievement is profound.At the same time,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 285 students of the Shuangliu XX Middle School in Sichuan province,using The Emotional Support Scale of Perceived Teachers and The Academic Self-efficacy Scale,both of which have good reliability and validity,are analyzed by SPSS,and the following results are obtained.1.Through class meetings and psychological counseling,the level of emotional support of teachers can be effectively improved.2.Perceived teacher emotional support was positively correlated with artistic students' academic self-efficacy.3.Perceiving teachers' emotional support helps to improve English academic performance.
