Research On The Evolution Of Olympic Organizational System From The Perspective Of International Relations After World War ?

After World War ?,international relations have evolved,and the organizational system of the Olympic Movement has been affected and further developed.This paper divides the history of the evolution of the organizational system of the Olympic Movement after World War ? into three stages,and divides the organizational system of the modern Olympic Movement into internal organizational system and external organizational network as the research object.By analyzing the historical facts of the evolution of the organizational system of the Olympic Movement after World War ?,this paper summarizes the evolution characteristics of the internal organizational system and the external organizational network in the three stages,and uses three theories of international relations to analyze the reasons for its evolution.By using the methods of documentation,historical research,logical analysis and case study,this paper summarizes the evolution characteristics of the organizational system of the Olympic Movement after World War ?,and uses the theory of international relations to analyze the causes,and draws the following conclusions:1.The organizational system of modern Olympic Games is divided into internal organizational system and external organizational network.The internal organizational system takes the IOC as its core,and works closely with national or regional Olympic Committees,international individual sports federations and Olympic Organizing Committees.The network of external organizations centers around the IOC and forms a linkage with international non-governmental organizations,intergovernmental organizations and transnational corporations.2.After World War ?,the internal organization of the Olympic Movement was conflicted by the original IOC and other organizations because of their economic interests and power distribution.Its unity foundation was damaged.Then the IOC played a leading role again,formulated rules to distribute income,re-established the unity foundation and eased the internal organizational relationship.At present,the IOC and other internal organizations have strengthened.Relations,mutual assistance and reciprocity have become the cooperative mechanism relationship with the IOC as the head of command and complementing each other.3.After World War ?,the external organizational network of the Olympic Movement started from the initial cooperation between the IOC and the external organizations is less,and the external organizations have not yet formed.Then,the IOC established a communication mechanism and actively cooperated with the external organizations,which initially formed the external organizational network.Today,the IOC shares benefits with the Continental associations,and carries out multi-field cooperation with a wide range of international organizations.As a result,an organizational network with the IOC as the core and cooperation with international organizations in various fields has been formed.4.After World War ?,the reasons for the evolution of the internal organizational system and the external organizational network of the Olympic Movement are analyzed from the realistic theory.Under the background of the cold war,the IOC is affected by political factors and is unable to play a coordinating and leading role in dealing with the relations with other internal organizations and to establish external organizational relations.From the neo-liberalism theory,the two-tier structure is loose,the IOC is less affected by political factors and pays attention to economic issues.By formulating rules and distributing income with internal organizations,the IOC actively eases internal organizational relations,actively establishes cooperative relations with external organizations,increases revenue and builds a communication platform.From the perspective of global governance theory,with the end of the cold war,the acceleration of globalization and the rise of the international status of non-state actors,the IOC can give full play to its leading role and strengthen the cooperation between internal and external organizational networks.
