Under the fundamental task of deepening the comprehensive reform of education and fully implementing the "Lide Tree People",cultivating high-quality talents is the most important task of contemporary education.Chemistry is characterized by the recognition of matter at the microscopic level,the symbolic description of matter,and the creation of matter at different levels.Corresponding to it is the unique thinking mode of chemical science: "macroscopic-microscopic-symbol" triple representational thinking [1].With the development of the times,it is necessary to cultivate high-quality talents with more skills,especially the ability of analyzing and processing charts and curves.Therefore,the thinking of triple representation is deepened and extended by combineing with "handheld technology",It is proposed that "macroscopic-microscopic-symbol-curve" four-fold representational thinking mode is complementary to the five parts of core accomplishment of chemistry.Firstly,this paper investigates the current research status of core literacy and four-fold representation,and finding it in a blank.The survey results obtained from the questionnaire distributed to senior high school chemistry teachers and the field classroom observation have found that the core quality and four-fold representation concept of teachers are weak.The author selected some periods to design teaching plans based on the four-fold representational thinking mode under the core quality and carried out practice in the experimental class.Finally,the effectiveness of the teaching thinking was proved through the analysis of the mid-term and final scores of the experimental class and the control class through SPSS19.0 and the case interview.This study highlights the content of four-fold representational thinking and focuses on the development of students' core literacy,hoping to provide opinions for the interpretation of new textbooks and provide reference for teachers in the frontline teaching.
