On Relationship Of Sibling With Excessive Age Gap From The The Universal Two-Child Policy

Under the influence of China's "only child" family planning policy for nearly 40 years,the national population has been effectively controlled,but at the same time,accompanied by accelerated population aging,gender imbalance and other social problems.Therefore,the state implemented the "two-child policy" in 2013 and the "comprehensive two-child policy" in 2016,which are new measures taken by the state to deal with the problems of aging population and insufficient labor force.The continuous deepening of the "two-child policy" has not only brought about the adjustment of population policy for families of child-bearing age,but also in fact formed many families of elderly childbearing.Different from the families with many children in the period without family planning,two-child families with large age gap are produced because the age gap between the parents and the second child is too large and the birth interval between the two children is too large.The change of the relationship between the two children is the result of the change of times and the adjustment of China's population policy.In this context,questionnaire survey and casework method are adopted to investigate and analyze the two-child families in S community of N city with too large age difference,so as to reflect on the change of the two-child relationship with too large age difference from the perspective of social work.It is found that there are many problems such as emotional relationship change,time fault,psychological disorder and differential treatment of parents in two-child families in S community of N city.Under the guidance of social learning theory and family system theory,from the perspective of social workers,this paper puts forward countermeasures,such as attaching importance to the individual case guidance of the second child,incorporating the relationship between siblings into the family system,making use of peer group power and integrating community resources,so as to ease the relationship between siblings and promote family emotional exchange.The research on the sibling relationship under the universal two-child policy is of distinct epochal nature.As China gradually enters the "post-one-child" era,raising two children in the family will not only generate new family relations and family structure,but also bring new changes and adjustments to the family parent-child relationship.From the perspective of social work,this study hopes to be helpful forthe social family research in China when the "universal two-child" policy is launched,and to open up the possibility of re-constructing the ideal of a new two-child family.
