Since January 1,2016,the "universal two-child" policy has been formally implemented throughout the country.The implementation of this policy not only affects all aspects of society,but also greatly affects the families who undertake the task of childbearing,especially the increasing number of two-child families.With the birth of the "second child",the family structure has changed,and some "first child" can not adapt to the change of identity,resulting in a series of psychological and behavioral problems such as anxiety,jealousy,regression,attack and so on.Sibling relationship,as a kind of "mandatory" relationship with the longest duration in life,its quality will affect the growth of the individual and the harmony of the family.Therefore,this paper will conduct a practical study on improving the negative sibling relationship in the two-child family.First of all,this study takes the pupils of W Primary School in Mabian County as a sample,and selects the students of Grade 4,5 and 6 to carry out a questionnaire survey on sibling relationship and attachment relationship.Through statistical analysis,it is found that the attachment level of the only child in this primary school is slightly higher than that of non-only child,and the mother-child attachment is slightly higher than that of the father-child attachment;the children’s sibling relationship is affected by sex,parents’ working situation,family economic situation,family relationship and parents’ discipline style,and some children do have the need to improve the negative sibling relationship.It is mainly manifested in the aspects of sibling competition,sibling conflict and low sibling intimacy,and there is a significant positive correlation between the level of parent-child attachment and sibling relationship in W primary school children.Secondly,according to questionnaires and interviews,the sibling children with more competitive conflicts and lower intimacy were selected,and two pairs of negative sibling relationship with the same demographic structure were found,one as the experimental group and the other as the control group.Through the questionnaire to assess the status of sibling relationship and children’s attachment,using the family system theory,to analyze the existing problems and reasons under the guidance of attachment theory.Through the intervention of social workers to repair and enhance the attachment relationship of various subsystems in the family,to compare and analyze the measurement results of sibling relationship before and after the test,to understand after the intervention of social work,improve the negative sibling relationship and the positive impact on the case family.It is helpful to enrich the theoretical perspective of social work research on children’s sibling relationship in two-child family;to explore the methods to improve negative sibling relationship in the perspective of attachment theory,and to verify the effectiveness of social work in using attachment theory to improve negative sibling relationship.The results show that after the intervention of professional methods of social work,the attachment level of sibling children has increased from 2.6 and 3.05 to 3.6 and 3.95;the average score of sibling relationship has increased from 2.73 and 3.04 to 3.24 and 3.57,and the subjective effect is obvious.It can be seen that by improving the attachment status of each subsystem of the family,the negative sibling relationship can be improved,which is of practical significance.Finally,research is summarized and reflected.
