The development of media technology has spawned a wide range of cultural products,among which the historically reflected image resources taken an important position.These image resources have changed the way students receive perceive historical information.With the development of curriculum reform,the historical image resource has become an essential content of high school history classes.Its role and influence are also more and more significant.A large number of history educators have carried out numerous theoretical and practical explorations.However,there are some insufficiency such as the monotonous source of research materials,convergence of research methods,narrow research horizon and lack of complete case studies.On the basis of relevant historical,pedagogical,psychological and existing studies,this paper combines literature reviews,investigations and case analyses to start the research.In order to understand the application of image resources in high school history teaching,questionnaires and interviews were conducted for students and teachers respectively.The survey found that the image resources,with its creativity,vividness,effectiveness,enhanced the enthusiasm and initiative of students learning history.They hope to learn history through image resources and support its application in history teaching.But in the actual process of operation,the application of image resources is far from satisfaction.Most teachers do not realize the vital role of video resources,the lack of its application design and negligence the cultivation of students' ability.Some teachers have difficulties in the selection and textual research of image resources,which hinder the use of video resources.On the basis of this investigation,a teaching plan is designed to try to apply the dynamic image resources and the static image resources to the high school history classroom teaching,in order to seek the appropriate application of strategies of image resources.The results show the application of image resources in senior high school history teaching.First of all,history teachers need to establish a correct attitude,develop the habit of collecting and using image resources,actively face the challenges of image resources to history teaching and energetically commit to the construction of an image resource database;Secondly,schools need to provide history teachers with educationaltechnology training and historical image resources library.
