An important manifestation of the goal of mathematics curriculum is to cultivate students’ subject literacy.At present,the study on the factors affecting the formation of students’ core literacy in mathematics is not in-depth.How to develop students’ core literacy in mathematics has become a hot topic for educational researchers.The new curriculum standard advocates the main line of content design,which makes the relationship between knowledge learning and literacy training need to be studied.The main line of vector in geometry and algebra is taken as the research object,and classification of vector knowledge.Through statistics of the test questions related to vector knowledge in the college entrance examination,this paper analyses the relationship between the examination situation and the core literacy embodied in the test questions,designs a matrix scale to investigate the first-year students of two high schools in H city,to understand their learning effect of vector knowledge,and combines interviews to analyze the current situation of vector teaching in two schools,to explore how to cultivate students’ core literacy in the process of knowledge learning.Through this study,the following teaching suggestions are summarized:1.When teaching the basic knowledge of vectors,we should adopt the main-line teaching design.This teaching method is conducive to students’ understanding and memory of vector concepts,help students sort out the knowledge chain,find the links and differences between different concepts,and form a complete knowledge system.In the process of exploring the relationship between knowledge and knowledge,students can accumulate mathematical abstraction literacy.2.When explaining the concepts related to vectors,we should pay attention to the physical background of vectors.Using the physical background of vector to teach can improve students’ interest in learning,induce students to think positively,establish self-confidence in learning,reasoning and argumentation of existing knowledge conclusions to a certain extent,distinguish knowledge attributes in different backgrounds,and enhance the core quality of logic reasoning.3.When solving geometric problems,students should be guided to use the algebraic properties of vectors.By using the algebraic property of vectors,points,lines and surfaces in space can be transformed into algebraic relations(coordinates,equations),which can reduce the obstacles of reasoning in complex solid geometry.Through the establishment of space rectangular coordinate system,students’ intuitive and imaginative literacy can be trained,using the algebraic nature of vectors,and students’ mathematical operation literacy can be developed at the same time.
