According to the World Health Organization,socio-economic and lifestyle factors have surpassed genetic and medical factors and have become the primary factors affecting health.Since China's reform and opening up 40 years ago,the class structure has undergone major changes,and the way of life has changed with the progress of the modernization process.In this context,this paper uses the national sample data-China Comprehensive Social Survey(2010)to influence the relationship between the socioeconomic status and self-evaluation health of Chinese residents,the status quo of life style and the impact of socioeconomic status on self-rated health.Research was carried out and the following findings were made.First,socioeconomic status is an important factor affecting health.Education,income,and occupation have a significant positive impact on self-rated health.Second,socioeconomic status is an important factor in lifestyle.People with higher education levels are more likely to participate in physical exercise;residents with higher incomes are more likely to exercise,choose fresh fruits and vegetables,and drink too much;Compared with the unemployed population,residents outside the system are more likely to exercise,choose fresh fruits and vegetables,and excessive smoking.The residents in the system are more likely to exercise.Third,lifestyle is an important factor affecting health.Self-evaluation of residents who exercise and choose fresh fruits and vegetables is better,and self-reported health status of over-smokers is even worse.Fourth,socioeconomic status further affects self-rated health by affecting lifestyles.After controlling for lifestyle variables,the impact of income and occupation on self-rated health is reduced,and the impact of education on self-rated health disappears.Fifth,there are gender differences in the impact of socioeconomic status on self-rated health.Education has a significant positive impact on women's self-evaluation health,and has no effect on men;income has a greater impact on women's self-evaluation health than men;occupational status to men Self-assessment of health has a significant positive impact and has no effect on women.There is also a gender difference in the mediating role of lifestyle in the relationship between socioeconomic status and health.After adding lifestyle variables,the impact of socioeconomic status on both men and women is reduced.Among them,the impact of education on women's self-evaluation health disappeared,the impact of occupation on male self-assessment health decreased,and the impact of income on the self-evaluation health of men and women decreased.In short,this paper can draw the basic conclusion:socioeconomic status is related to self-evaluation health status.education,income and employment status have different effects on health;socioeconomic status is closely related to lifestyle;lifestyle is affecting health An important factor;socioeconomic status further affects health by affecting lifestyles;there are gender differences in the health effects of lifestyles on socioeconomic status.
