Division And Identity:A Study On Social Identity Of Migrant Workers Returning Home

Under the background of urban-rural integration led by the strategy of "rural revitalization",the wave of migrant workers returning to their hometowns has become larger and larger.More and more migrant workers have turned from passive returning to their hometowns to active returning to their hometowns.The implementation of preferential policies for returning to their hometowns to start businesses has enabled more migrant workers to return to their hometowns to start businesses.Under the background of China’s new rural construction with the harmonious development of urban and rural areas at the present stage,the academic research on the group of returning migrant workers as the main research object group has attracted the attention of various academic circles.Due to the abnormal state of "economic absorption and social resistance" of the migrant workers in cities,the migrant workers present a state of "marginal people" and "marginal people" in cities.The failure of "citizenization of qualification" makes migrant workers cannot stay in cities for a long time,and "returning home" becomes the forced choice of most migrant workers.After struggling to break away from the status of urban "marginal people" granted by the city,the returned migrant workers are faced with the dilemma of becoming "double marginal people" again.In this study,literature research method and case interview method were adopted to investigate the returning migrant workers in H village and Y village of two administrative villages in N town of linjiang city,jilin province.According to the questionnaire on social identity status of returning migrant workers,case structured interviews were conducted to collect primary data.First of all,this study summarizes the primary data of migrant workers to return home subjective and objective attribution;Secondly,based on the process role theory and self-classification theory,this paper gives an in-depth interpretation of the reality and predicament of the social identity problems of the returning migrant workers in China.Finally,the paper explains the analysis conclusion of returning migrant workers becoming "double marginal people" with the mirror theory,and further summarizes the supportive countermeasures and Suggestions to solve the social identity problems and dilemmas of returning migrant workers.This will not only help to adjust the contradiction between social identity,migrant workers friends fault of time to adapt and identity is the native of the urban environment,also help migrant friends in-depth understanding of their own life career planning,but also help the government related department to promote rural revitalization strategy and migrant entrepreneurship policy formulation and implementation,to promote the new rural construction,promote the harmonious development of urban and rural social and public security for a long time.
