College Students' Social Responsibility Cultivation Research

In his speech at the at the Peking University Teacher-Student Symposium,Xi Jinping said," We must be diligent in learning,sensitive to knowledge,focus on internalizing the knowledge we have learned,and form our own opinions.We must not only specialize in the Expo,but also care about the country,the people,and the world.learn to take up social responsibility." This passage reflects General Secretary Xi Jinping's beautiful vision and high concern for college students.It is also an expectation for the future development of contemporary college students.The role of "social responsibility" should become an inevitable requirement of contemporary college students.College students are the builders and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and They are also newcomers to the era of national rejuvenation.Whether or not they have the sense of responsibility and the ability of behavior to shoulder the heavy responsibility is not only related to the realization of the "two hundred years" struggle goals,but also important to realize the value of the comprehensive development.Therefore,from the perspective of theory and practice,the study of the cultivation of college students 'sense of social responsibility has become one of the contemporary meanings of ideological and political education in universities.Based on the relevant theories of ideological and political education,this paper uses questionnaires,individual interviews,literature analysis and other multidisciplinary research methods,to analysis the current situation,problems and reasons of contemporary college students' sense of social responsibility,and explores the basic path of cultivating.The paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly discusses the reasons for college students' social responsibility and the reasons for the selection of the research,the significance of the topic,the research ideas,and the relevant research status.The second chapter is a theoretical overview.Based on the analysis of the concept of “social responsibility”,the refinement of specific characteristics,and the basic orientation of cultivation goals,the basic theoretical issues of elaborated social responsibility,which provides the basis and premise for the further research.The third chapter discusses the theoretical basis and realistic basis of the college student's social responsibility.The thesis is rooted in the theory of Marxism on the relationship between individual and social relations,freedom and responsibility.At the same time,the thesis also discusses the practical basis from three aspects: the need to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the need to unite spiritual forces to form social synergy,and the need to shape college students' healthy personality.The fourth chapter analyzes the current situation of college students 'social responsibility.Using the data of the Jilin University Students 'Social Responsibility Survey,analyze the overall situation,problems and causes of college students 'social responsibility from the perspectives of social responsibility awareness,social responsibility identity and social responsibility actions,as well as political responsibility,life responsibility,learning responsibility,school responsibility,and online responsibility.Which is prepare the ground for the next research.The fifth chapter discusses the concrete path from four aspects: individual,family,school,and society,and returns to reality in order to have certain guidance and reference significance for ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
