With the advancement of teaching reform in the information age.teachers not only need to master general professional knowledge and skills,but also have high learning ability and level,especially high-level ability to solve complex problems.Therefore,as important reserve of modern teachers,in the process of vocational teacher training,it is especially important to promote the deep learning of the undergraduates for vocational teachers.This research is based on the perspective of STEM education.The undergraduates for vocational teachers are learning in the course under the guidance of STEM teaching mode.In the process of problem solving,the level of learning is improved,the ability of higher-order thinking is developed,and the skills to solve real-world problems are obtained,to achieve the transfer of knowledge and skills.The purpose of this study is to promote the deep learning of the undergraduates for vocational teachers through STEM education.The author specifically studied the following contents and achieved corresponding results.1.In-depth study of STEM education and deep learning related literature at home and abroad to grasp the research status at home and abroad basically.2.Based on the perspective of educational psychology and learning methods,explore the relationship between STEM education and deep learning theoretically.3.By combining the elements of the teaching model,summarizing and analyzing the relevant STEM teaching modes at home and abroad,integrating the characteristics of the training target of the undergraduates for vocational teachers,combining the inductive method and the deductive method to construct the suitable STEM teaching mode for this research.4.Apply the constructed STEM teaching mode to the classroom teaching practice of the undergraduates for vocational teachers,verify its operability and the actual effect on the promotion of deep learning of the undergraduates for vocational teachers,reflect on the effect,and correct the beginning teaching mode.Finally,it is concluded that the STEM teaching model is effective in promoting meaningful learning,completing knowledge construction,cultivating critical thinking.improving metacognitive ability and improving classroom teaching effectiveness,that is.to a certain extent the STEM teaching model can promote the deep learning of the undergraduates for vocational teachers.
