A friction is an important concept in physics,but the friction teaching is also a big difficulties in high school physics teaching.The main reasons are that some students have fuzzy understandings of the friction,and low precision experimental instruments.On the basis of literature study and questionnaire survey,focusing on the problems in friction teaching,some friction experiments are investigation based on the PASCO platform,which helps students better understand the friction and provides reference for teachers.The full text mainly includes the following aspects: The first part,adopt literature research and case study method research of friction teaching status quo.The second part,adopt questionnaire survey method resarch of foshan middle school physics experiment teaching situation.The third part,(1)Investigation the relationship between maximum static friction force and sliding friction;(2)Investigation the relationship between sliding friction and positive pressure;(3)Measure the friction factor between several materials;(4)Investigation the relationship between sliding friction and contact area;(5)Investigation the relationship between sliding friction force and relative speed;(6)Investigation the influence of oxidized graphene for sliding friction;(7)Improve the experiment about rolling friction and sliding friction.The experimental results show that: the maximum static friction force is not equal to sliding friction;Sliding friction is proportional to the positive pressure;Sliding friction has nothing to do with the contact area;Sliding friction has nothing to do with the relative speed;Oxidized graphene can reduce friction better than the ordinary lubricating oil;Measure the friction factor between cotton and wood.The fourth part is the experimental teaching.Organize students to design the experiment scheme and exploring experiments.Teaching practice shows:(1)Using PASCO platform to experiment teaching can make the experimental phenomena more intuitive,the results more accurate,the data processing more simple;(2)Investigation the friction experiment can clarify some fuzzy knowledge.Help students understanding of friction and change the original wrong concepts;(3)Extracurricular inquiry experiment teaching can solve the problem of physics experiment teaching hour less;(4)Students designed experiment scheme can improve the students' innovation ability.
