Research on migrant workers has always been a key area of sociology. After the reform and opening up,the number of migrant workers has grown rapidly, and the peasants working in cities have greatly promoted the economic growth of China. The issue of income security for migrant workers has always attracted the attention of scholars.Entering the 21 st century, the industrial structure is accelerating transformation and upgrading, and artificial intelligence is applied on a large scale.Migrant workers face enormous challenges in working in cities.Especially female migrant workers in the labor market face certain disadvantages in employment and development.Gender inequality Widely existed, many female migrant workers have long faced low income, lack of security, double discrimination in gender registration, urban integration difficulties and poor interpersonal relationships, and become more special vulnerable groups. The main way to increase labor income is to increase their human capital, but generally with the increase of age,the stock of human capital shows a trend from small to many, then more or less.Especially after the school graduates, the stock of human capital brought to the labor force by the school is only effective at the beginning of the work, and then will gradually decrease. After the work, the knowledge and experience gained from self-study or training will constitute the main part of human capital in the future. The important way to obtain human capital after work is to participate in training and obtain professional qualification certificate. This paper focuses on the impact of vocational qualification certificate on the income of migrant workers. At the same time, under the background of the state encouraging and promoting the vocational qualification education of migrant workers, studying the impact of vocational qualification certificates on the income of migrant workers has certain reference significance for national policies. The research questions in this paper are mainly to study the impact of vocational qualification certificates on the income of migrant workers and their differences in gender. The research on migrant workers has great significance for social development. The study of migrant workers contributes to economic development and social stability. This paper attempts to verify whether human capital represented by professional qualifications has a positive effect on labor income growth. In theory, labor professional qualifications,as part of human capital, can increase the income of workers, especially for gender discrimination in the female labor market.Women are weak in the labor market competition, and their income and career promotion are higher than men’s.Low,whether vocational qualifications can increase women’s professional competitiveness, increase their income, and reduce gender differences are of great significance in the study of gender differences. This paper focuses on quantitative research, especially based on theoretically oriented empirical research, focusing on research issues, collecting empirical data, cleaning and integrating data, using nested model tests such as linear regression and quantile regression models. The different roles of independent and control variables and the significance of the model.Prove or falsify previous assumptions based on statistical results and parameters of the model.Although there are many studies on migrant workers, there are few studies on the impact of vocational qualification certificates on migrant workers. Some studies have found that having primary and intermediate vocational skills certificates has a positive impact on the wages of migrant workers, and migrant workers with intermediate vocational skills certificates have higher average wages than migrant workers with only junior vocational skills certificates, while senior vocational skills certificates. The wage effect is not significant(Liu Yi and Song Bo,2018).On the whole,China’s research on the impact of vocational qualification certificates on labor income is relatively late, and there are many articles about the impact of vocational qualification certificates on college students’ employment and income. Most studies have found that professional qualifications have a significant impact on work and income, but the sample selection for these studies is often a business, university or industry, and its representation is not sufficient.Only a few articles use data from all large-scale social surveys. For example,Li Xueet al.(2012)used cgss national survey data and discussed endogenous issues, but cgss is not specifically for labor surveys. Moreover, one of the classical theories of sociology--social grouping theory emphasizes the difference between social groups. The difference between labors is first of all gender differences. Will the male and female labor force increase under the influence of the same vocational qualification certificate? With the same income, there is currently little systematic research on this issue. This paper uses the CLDS 2014 data of Sun Yat-sen University to use linear regression to find that the professional qualification certificate has different effects in the case of gender. In the male migrant workers, the vocational qualification certificate has no significant effect on their income, but for the female migrant workers professional qualification certificate can be Significantly increase their income.Further in-depth study, using the quantile regression to test the impact of vocational qualification certificates on the income of female migrant workers,in the 25% and 98% income quantiles, the vocational qualification certificate has a significant impact on the income of female migrant workers.
