Research On The Strategy And Effect Of Social Work Intervention In The Enforcement Of Urban Street Vendors

The original intention of urban management is to manage the city better and serve the citizens better.However,people have focused more on its negative news since it appeared,especially the enforcement of street vendors.This research takes the current law enforcement work of urban street vendors on county Y as the research background.By analyzing the existing problems and causes of the law enforcement,we can find that the inherent management of “regulatory” is the main cause of inefficient law enforcement.This enforced management is opposite to the vigorously advocated service-oriented government,which also lack of humanized services.This research starts with the humanized law enforcement initiated by the city management law enforcement department under the background of service-oriented.At the same time,social work is involved into the enforcement of street vendors.We can explore the necessity and feasibility of introducing social work through the two-way combination between “people-oriented” common service concept of humanized enforcement and social work,explaining the necessity and feasibility of introducing social work in theoretical level.Making the conflict between managers and street vendors as the intervention point,government can pass the social management method on the basic of the launch of introducing strategies.Thus,the law enforcers will change their rigid law enforcement concepts and methods,applying social work professional service concepts and skills to law enforcement.Therefore,social work plays a flexible role in handling the conflicts between law enforcers and law enforcement targets.The problem of law enforcement in street vendors has been greatly solved.To solving the shortcoming of this research,it is proposed to take Y county's local social work as the example.By taking the local advantages,we can explore the strategies and effects of social work in law enforcement street through street vendors to the perspectives of government and the public,providing the theoretical and practical reference for the further development of humanized law enforcement in urban management.In this way,the tension between urban management enforcers and street vendors can be relieved.Meanwhile,the problem of inefficient law enforcement can be solved,which also helps to improve the environment of law enforcement.
